Object - grapevine plantings on the territory of Tarutino District, Odessa Region. Aim of research - assessment of ampeloecological potential of Tarutino District, Odessa Region for optimization of grapevine plantings' location on the varietal level. Methods - expeditional, topographical, field tests, cartographical, calculation, comparatively-estimation method.Novelty - regularities of spatial distribution of ampeloecological potential have been studied and the assessment of it's changeability in the framework of the territory of the district and individual farms has been executed. Results - complex ampeloecological maps characterizing ampeloecological potential of the basic farms - ACJSC "Agrofirma n.a. S. Lazo" and CJSC "Sonyachne" and of a whole district have been executed.
