Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of hydrodynamics and heat transfer in oil-filled tank of power transformer equipment with external oil cooling sub-system. A brief overview of current approaches, models and methods for calculating the ther-mal state of power oil-filled transformer equipment was conducted, it showed that the most promising and accurate is the use of CFD-models of thermal power oil transformers in conjugate production. A two-dimensional CFD-models of the thermal power of oil-filled transformer equipment were developed, they allowed to obtain detailed field tem-peratures, velocities, pressures in the field of the decision and, if necessary, the fields of heat transfer coefficients on selected heat transfer surfaces as well.
