Essay

The dissertation for Philosophy Doctor (eng.) degree on specialty 05.14.06 - engineering thermal physics and industrial heat-power engineering. - National technical university of Ukraine "Kiev polytechnic institute", Kiev, 2012. The dissertation is devoted to creation new and to improvement existent processes and equipment for cooling single and multilayer, including corrugated, extruded plastic pipe. It ensures ability to determinate equipment and its operating regimes rational parameters and it will promote energy and material resources saving and environment protection. Physical and mathematical models of double-layer corrugated plastic pipes cooling, which include wall design philosophy of corrugated pipes and heat exchange on inner surface, were developed. Physical and mathematical models of even plastic pipes cooling, which include heat exchange on inner surface and pipe multilayer structure, were improved. Different plastic pipes double-sided cooling experimental research, which confirm developed models adequacy and using double-sided cooling efficiency, were carried out. Cooling discrete system was ex-perimentally researched. It confirms that cooling efficiency and ascertains equipment construc-tion and operating regimes influence on cooling regimes of even and corrugated plastic pipes.
