The dissertation is based on the research of the way ethnolinguistic identity influences the process of regulation of the interpersonal interaction. The results of the research revealed that ethnolinguistic identity can either serve as a foundation or a barrier to the effective interpersonal interaction. The outcome depends on the identity's specifics. In case of real, not hypothetic interpersonal interaction, ethnolinguistic identity brings minor influence on different linguistic and ethnic groups behavior.
