JAWAD H. Building and structural organization of ordered access memory based on sorting networks

Thesis is dedicated to development of methods of construction and principles of structural organization of an ordered access memory (OAM) based on sorting networks. The mathematical model of OAM is developed, as well as algorithms of vector and matrix data ordering on their labels, and methods of OAM construction are improved. The main types of OAM structures based on sorting networks are proposed. The expressions for calculating of developed OAM speed and equipment volume, as well as its effectiveness are received, based on which the tables and graphs of these characteristics are built. The comparative analysis of developed OAM types are performed and areas of their reasonable use are defined. The VHDL model of OAM based on sorting networks are build. This model is implemented in FPGA and an analysis of the achieved characteristics is performed.
