Essay

The thesis is devoted to obtain and study of structure, electrical and magnetic properties of intercalation compounds of graphite (ICG) with transition metals. It was shown the possibility of obtaining ICG with Co, Fe The insertion of metal layers leads to the electron exchange between graphene and metals inside ICG. It was determined that due to the ferromagnetic clusters formation in ICG the abnormal Hall effect occurs. The effect of quantum linear magnetoresistance and the effect of asymmetric (as to direction of magnetic field) magnetoresistance in ICG were experimentally revealed.
