Theoretical-methodical and practical bases of study of transformation of territorial organization of trade of region are developed in dissertation in the conditions of postindustrial economy. Approaches in domestic and foreign science to interpretation of concept of territorial organization of trade and defini-tion of its forms are analysed. The signs of transformation of territorial organization of trade sphere in the conditions of passing to the postindustrial model of development are found out and described. The modern processes of transformation of territorial organization of trade of region are analysed. The most substantial factors of territorial organization of point-of-sale sphere of region on the modern stage are found out and investigated. The retrospective analysis of development of territorial organization of trade of region is carried out and the periods of its transformation are found out. The modern state of the trade system of region is appraised and its progress trends are found out. The features of origin and functioning of innovative elements of territorial organization of trade of region are grounded and concept of trade cluster is developed. The features of development of network structures of territorial organization of trade sphere, and also basic problems and progress of virtual trade trends, are investigated. Conception of improvement of territorial organization of trade sphere of region is grounded and the differentiated sys-tem of the proper measures is developed.
