Shevchuk A. Molecular genetic diversity of species of the genus Sorghum Moench southern Ukraine

The dissertation contains theoretical and practical material on analysis of molecular-genetic polymorphism of sorghum genome, the development of marker system and their usage in genetic and breeding research of sorghum. There was demonstrated the molecular genetic isolation of sorghum genus from some other cereals. The interspecific and intraspecific molecular genetic polymorphism of sorghum genus was estimated. The genetic origin of soriz was refined. The allelic composition of SSR-loci for sorghum lines cultivated in southern Ukraine was analyzed. The 15 SSR-marker test-panel with high discriminatory ability was created. The genetic purity of the investigated lines was evaluated according to the analyzed markers. The differentiation, identification and registration of sorghum genotypes in the form of genetic formulas was conducted. DNA typing database of sorghum lines cultivated in Ukraine was created.
