Essay

The thesis is aimed at reducing the tensions that arise in the case of rope drum, especially in the case of reinforcement it with rings, which is giving rise to significant concentrations of stress. It was created the mathematical model of rope drum with reinforcing rings of stiffness and developed a package of computer programs for determining the stresses in the case of drum. In the calculations took into account the friction between the rope and drum, and the elastic properties of the rope drum, cross-sectional area and the installation of the reinforcing rings. Using the finite elements method it was determined the stresses in a cylindrical case of drum and deformation. It was made the physical model of drums. A number of studies with a variety of cylindrical shells: as with reinforcing rings, mounted in different places, and without rings. These calculations obtained both analytically and with a solid-state simulation were compared with experimental data and the differences were small. This gave the opportunity to prove harm of undue installation of stiffeners, which considerably worsen the state of stress of a cylindrical case of winch of lifting machine and the need for careful calculations in solving the reinforcement of the case. It was developed the method for determining the feasibility of installing reinforcing rings and calculation of their sizes.
