Voytsekhovich A. Algal component of lichens of Karadag Nature Reserve

The paper includes the results of cultural and molecular analysis of the lichen photobionts of Karadag Nature Reserve, which are consists of 33 algal species. From this number 15 species are new to the area of our research, 6 - new to the flora of Ukraine and 3 species are new to science. The 42 lichen species have been analysed for their photobiont for the first time. The selectivity level has been investigated for the most common lichen-forming fungi of the Reserve. The paper discusses issues relating to various sources of the photobionts, lichen parasitism, and possible ways of circulation of the photobionts in various lichen communities. The taxonomic revision of Trebouxia and Asterochloris genera was carried out.
