Essay

New models of a polymeric solar collector (PSC) for water heating in hot water supply, air conditioning, and absorption refrigerating systems were developed. Energy conversion process modeling for PSC made of multilayer multichannel polymeric structures is carried out. New experimental data for coefficient of performance, time constant, effective heat capacity and incidence angle modifier were obtained from thermal testing according to ISO 9806-1.
