Oliynykova N. Recovery and development of the region's economic potential

The subject of investigation is the processes of social and economic development of the region. The purpose of investigation is the development and substantiation of ways of region's economic potential reconstruction and fertilization. The methods of research are method of logical and theoretical generalization and comparison, a systematic approach, structural analysis, a method of economic and mathematical modeling. The practical importance of the obtained results consists in that the results and practical developments which were obtained during the process of research were introduced at various levels of government. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is that first the conclusion that region's economic potential reconstruction depends not only on its magnitude but also on the degree of government regulation in the region particularly and in the country generally was made. Conceptual frameworks of new resource-innovation strategy of regional economic development are moderated; the "clustering phenomenon" as an economic agglomeration of interconnected companies in a particular territory are improved. The experience of foreign and domestic researches, the methodology of economic potential category research; the analysis of problems and re-establishment and development of the region's economic potential; the basic principles of State regional policy; the proposals for state regulation of social and economic infrastructure improving and moderating are further developed.
