Essay

The object of the research: society of the Roman Province Dacia. The dissertation purpose is the complex characteristic of society of the Roman Dacia, its structure and social relations, features of formation, development and functioning. Methods: comparative-historical method, method of the structural analysis, method of the complex analysis of sources, method of the critical analysis, prosopographical method, method of the statistical analysis. Scientific novelty: in the dissertation attempt of complex research of all making of society of the Roman Dacia for the first time is carried out; the situation of all basic groups of the population of a province is analyzed; a question on social structure of Dacia and interaction of its elements for the first time is comprehensively considered. Practical value of work: the results of work can be used for study of a history of society of the Roman empire, in particular, for research of different aspects of social-political development of the Roman provinces; at a spelling of articles and monographies on a history of the Roman domination in the Balkan-Danube provinces of Empire; by preparation of the textbooks for higher educational institutions, general and special courses on a history of Ancient Rome.
