Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of features of the processes of scattering and coherent radiation at collision of bunches of a large number of relativistic charged particles on each other. Examination held in the basis of classical theory of radiation, which is possible in the case of the low radiation frequencies. An expression for the spectral density of radiation in the dipole approximation of the classical theory of radiation for relativistic charge is obtained, when the electron is scattered in the field of the bunch of particles with distribution function of particles of the bunch in the transverse direction of any kind. It is shown that the spectral density of radiation consists of two parts, which correspond to coherent and incoherent radiation. Consideration was carried out for cases of frontal collisions and collisions at a small angle between the axes of motion of the colliding particles. The possibility of coherent effects in radiation of charge when it is scattered was shown and the conditions for the occurrence of this effect was found. It is shown that a much greater transversal distances is responsible for the radiation process in this case compared to longitudinal distances. The effect of suppression of coherent radiation was predicted and the analysis of the physical causes of the suppression effect was carried out.
