Grushchynska O. Petrology of exocontact metamorphic rocks in Korosten complex (Volyn megablock, Ukrainian Shield).

The dissertation is devoted to study of the peculiarities of manifestations for exocontact metamorphism in the framework rocks around Korosten Pluton relating to anorthosite-rapakivi-granite (ARG) association of Ukrainian Shield. The data about distributional patterns, occurrences, compositions, petrographic features and petrogenesis of contact metamorphic rocks relating to Korosten complex were considerably supplemented by the author. The ideas about isochemical character of contact metamorphic transformations in the framework rocks under basic intrusions of Korosten complex got further development. Their belonging to contact-thermal units of pyroxene-hornfels facie as well as P-T conditions of contact metamorphism was established. For the first time it has been investigated in detail the occurrences of contact metamorphism connected with rapakivi-granite intrusions of Korosten complex. It were proved their allochemical character and belonging to high temperature contact metasomatic units formed in conditions of K, Si injection and Ca, Mg, Fe loss. Contact-thermal transformations corresponded to pyroxene-hornfels facie and sometimes reached its upper boundary with pyroxene-hornfels one.
