Essay

In this dissertation work the results of biomorphologycal, anatomical, biochemical peculiarities and utilitarian signs of Hyssopus officinalis plants have been presented. Growth and development peculiarities for Hyssopus officinalis plants of three morphological forms and different age categories in the conditions of the Pre-mountain zone of the Crimea have been determined. Peculiarities of essential oil content in different plant's organs have been studied and data about its quantitative content have been got. In the essential oil 41 terpenoid substances have been identified. New chemotypes (linalool, methyleugenol and polycomponent). Firstly essential oil from hyssop's seeds has been taken and its component composition has been determined. As а result of pallinological studies. Analyses of the main economical-valuable signs in Hyssopus officinalis plants of different age have been made and grounded terms for industrial exploitation of its plantations have been determined. Among seed progeny it has been shared out the most perspective representatives of Hyssopus officinalis for the introduction to the culture and using in selection work.
