Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the solution of an issue of the day to improve ship synchronous generator (SG) voltage quality by applying impulse adjusting. It is shown that the transient time is within the interval of 0,005 to 0,22 s. The scheme of impulse adjusting of a synchronous generator with parametric stabilization was developed, the scheme parameters providing steady performance and high quality of SG voltage were defined and experimentally verified.
