Essay

The object of research comprises the process of run-of-mine ore transportation by the continuous hauling system where its elementa belt conveyor - is under examination. In the dissertation it has been obtained an algorithm for the angle of the operating slip determination wherein the radiation of the thermal source derives due to frictional forces. A digital simulation of the thermal area of a frictional couple was performed by the finite element method. It has been designed the benchmarking model of automatic control system (ACS) with distributed constants of bivariate distribution of the thermal area of a conveyor frictional couple as well as the benchmarking model which allows for the impact on the conveyor belt caused by fatigue stratification and fatigue belt destruction under compression under the current parameters of the technological process. A suboptimal adaptive automatic control system of belt tension on the basis of a hierarchical system of technical and economic criteria has been developed.
