Essay

The thesis is devoted to investigation of approximation of separately and jointly continuous functions by means of approximating sequences of Bernstein's, Fejer's and Jackson's operators. Moreover, in the theses we obtain a functional generalization of Bernstein's theorem and extend this theorem to the setting of -spaces. The results of the thesis are of theoretical character and can be applied to the General Function Theory, Topology and Functional Analysis.
