The thesis is devoted to the improvement of the quality of reconstructing of the absolute dynamic topography and geostrophic velocity fields from satellite altimetry in the Black Sea basin and the investigation of the evolution of the Black Sea upper layer dynamics using reconstructing data. Spatial-temporal variability of the Black Sea level is investigated from tidegauges and altimetry data. The mean dynamic topography, that is a crucial parameter for estimating dynamic topography, and, therefore, geostrophic circulation from satellite altimetry Sea Level Anomalies, was reconstructed via "synthetic" method. Using computed field and mapped sea level anomalies the surface geostrophic circulation and dynamic topography of the basin with the spatial resolution 1/8° and temporal resolution 7 days for the period 1992-2010 years was reconstructed. The Black Sea interannual and seasonal upper layer dynamic were investigated using obtained arrays in the terms of mean kinetic energy, eddy kinetic energy and geostrophic velocities for 1992-2010 period. It is shown that the wind regime shift occurred in 2002-2003 years leads to the strong intensification of the Black Sea currents and eddy activity, the decrease of the concentration of the chlorophyll A in the central part of the basin.
