A research object - the formation of Os(IV), Rh(III) and Ir (IV) complex сompounds with flavonoids. Research purpose - to establish the chemico-analytical properties of compounds of platinum group metals with quercetin, morin and luteolin with the aim of their application for effective and sensetive spectrophotometric determination of osmium (IV), rhodium (III) and iridium (IV) as well as these flavonoids. Research methods are a spectrophotometry, potentiometry, voltammetry, electrophoresis. Theoretical and practical results - the possibility of the quercetin, morin and luteolin using for spectrophotometric determination of osmium, iridium and rhodium in different concentration ranges (LOD=0.003-0.16 ?g mL-1) are grounded as well as their selectivity towards concomitant metals ions are investigated. A novelty of regulations and results - the scientific results of thesis concerning to the study of platinum metals interaction with flavonoids in aqueous and aqueous-alcoholic solutions with formation of new analytical forms for osmium (IV), rhodium (III) and iridium (IV) ions determination using the morin, quercetin and luteolin as well as these flavonoids after a reaction with platinoids are new. Scope - analytical chemistry: the determination of osmium (IV), rhodium (III) and iridium (IV) as well as flavonoids.
