Taran S. System of automatic control of pretreatment process by multimedia filters

Dissertation is devoted to study and development of theoretical and practical issues to improve the effect of control of water clarification by multimedia filters to provide the stabilization of water turbidity with further treatment by RO regarding to stochastic variance in feed water quality via perfection of the method and algorithm of control. The simulation model of pretreatment technological process by multimedia filters as the functional relation of turbidity of treated water against the consumption of dosing chemical is specified in dissertation. The research of main disturbance as water turbidity in input of the process is performed. For the first time ever is developed combined system of automatic control of water pretreatment that provides the stabilization of predetermines turbidity of treated water. Practical recommendation of application of suggested system of automatic control for water clarification by multimedia filtration is developed and the economical effect upon implementation of the system of automatic control for water clarification by multimedia filtration is calculated.
