Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the research of identification methods of thermo-transducer static and dynamic characteristics. It is impossible to determine the measurement error of the controlled medium temperature on the basis of physical model analysis of a thermoelectric transducer. The most parameters of physical model of thermo-EMF alteration are frequently unknown, therefore such a model is fit only for understanding the physical processes taking place in the material of a sensitive element. The existing methods of describing thermotransducers' dynamical properties do not consider the constructive parameters of thermotransducers, their altering due to temperature or thermoexchange modes. The thesis proposes theoretical research in the thermo-EMF determination at passing the current in two opposed directions as well as in the measurement of thermo-EMF difference arisen from Peltier effect (heating and cooling). The methods and measuring equipment for the registration of a temperature change in the thermocouple solder are developed. The analysis of thermotransducer dynamic qualities is conducted, and the methods of thermotransducer classification due to the ratios of reaching times (0.9 and 0.5) to the maximal temperature are proposed. The dependences for medium temperature identifying are fixed for any group of thermotransducers.
