Essay

The thesis is devoted to the investigation of electrical and thermal properties of composite materials with different types of carbon fillers. In the process of research the method of fabricating nanocarbon materials in a wide range of structural characteristics and polymer composite materials based on them were developed. The concentration and temperature dependences of the electrical and thermal conductivities of polymer composites with different nanocarbon fillers were experimentally investigated. The models of the electrical and thermal conductivity of composite materials were proposed. The concentration and temperature dependences of the electrical and thermal conductivities calculated according to the proposed models are in good agreement with the experimental results.
