The thesis is devoted to expansion of the sphere of applicability of the existing face recognition systems for the case when the input and reference images of a face are taken from different angles, by automatically building 3D shape of the face from a reference image. The technology for 3D reconstruction of a human face from several pictures with unknown illumination and orientation, or even fron one picture is the applied result of the work.
