Essay

Dynamics of various weather indices for research growing periods (2005-2007) in two different agroecological zones (Forest-steppe and Polissya) and its influences on realization of potential of spring bread wheat productivity has been ascertained. By means of the estimation of correlation coefficients of integral temperature and humidity indices with yield it was shown positive correlation between the integral indices of temperature, relative humidity and ecological index for a range which is responsive to the physiology necessities of plants (an optimum temperature range was from +10 to +30°С, and relative humidity - RH >50%). In the conditions of two agroecological zones of growing (Forest-steppe and Polissya) efficiency of the most known methods of estimation of adaptation ability of wheat to various agroecological conditions is tested and relations of ecological-geographic areas of origin of varieties with the indices of adaptiveness was determined. The optimal for adaptiveness areas of spring wheat varieties origin are identified for growing conditions (Forest-steppe and Polissya) - West Europe, North Europe, Central Ukraine and East Ukraine and for drought-tolerance - West Siberia, Volga region, Middle Volga region, East Ukraine and Central Ukraine which are promote in maximal realization of genetic potential of the productivity and grain quality.
