Actual scientific and practical task to increase high-manganese steel instrument cut-ting effectiveness is worked out in the thesis. It was specified, that diagnostic models working ability characteristics of instrument provide adequacy of diagnostic information about technical condition using resonance-amplitude frequency characteristic of blade edge own frequencies spectrum. Stability of diagnostic reaction for blade edge state with PSHM plates on the basis of CNB at high-manganese steel instrument cutting is proved. The permanent diagnostic sign of high-manganese steel instrument with PNTM plates on the basis of KNB cutting part intensive destruction beginning in the range of technological parts cutting became increasing of blade edge resonance amplitude values maximum at 2,5-2,6 on frequency of its own vibration amplitude. The thesis practical result is applied into production of PJC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" OJSC Regom, SPE "Kogorta" Ltd, RD
