The thesis is devoted to improve the high resolution capabilities and long duration quality of air pressure measurements within near surface atmosphere in any points of the World Ocean with rough weather conditions by means of drifting buoys, equipped with subsurface drogues. The main requirements to the drifter method of air pressure monitoring were developed to provide for buoy the reliable and long duration autonomous measurements, when buoy gets submergence under influence of surface waves. The buoy's equipment and methods of air pressure measurements were updated and evaluated in-situ with goal to confirm the long duration stability and accuracy of samples under influence of different environmental factors. The methods and equipment were developed and tested to increase space-time resolution of air pressure measurements, when rough weather conditions take place for long time. Many different long duration experiments were carried out in different areas of World Ocean, including the Black Sea. The experimental data about air pressure variability were collected, systematized and preliminary analyzed.
