Essay

Object of research - the territory of the northwestern part of the Black Sea shelf from the position of the deep geological structure and hydrocarbon potential. Purpose - creating an integral spatial geological and geophysical model of the deep structure within the northwestern shelf of the Black Sea as a basis for further geological structure and hydrocarbon potential specification. Methods of investigation - The research method is an analysis and systematization of geological and geophysical information. Methods of mathematical description a complex models of geological medium. Mathematical methods for the numerical solution of direct and inverse problems of gravity survey including a three-dimensional models. Methods of the integral interpretation of geological and geophysical data for oil and gas fields exploration. The degree of implementation - determined new and perspective objects for oil and gas exploration have been used for exploration planning in NJSC "Naftogaz of Ukraine" for 2011 and following years. The practical application of scientific results will significantly improve the efficiency of oil and gas exploration within the shelf of the northwestern part of the Black Sea. Area of use is an oil-and-gas industry, geological and geophysical companies.
