The thesis is dedicated to the development of an energy saving technology of grain drying in a dense bed using the energy of a microwave electromagnetic field.The analytical dependence for a temperature field calculation of a dense bed in the course of drying in a microwave field has been obtained. The influence of different factors on speed of drying and specific energy consumption has been experimentally studied. It was found that for the investigated species of grain crops (wheat, oats, barley and buckwheat)
