Essay

Object: process of structure and properties of fibrous metal composites with a copper matrix modification. The purpose: the determination of formation laws of structure and properties of fibrous metal composites with a copper matrix at the combined plastic deformation with use of equal-channel angular pressing, hydroextrusion and drawings for working out of the physical-technological bases of advanced process of their manufacturing. Methods: x-ray analysis; optical and transmission electronic microscopy; durometery; mechanical tests; measurements of electric resistance, magnetization, susceptibility and a critical current. Results: The positive effect of fibrous composites structure with copper matrix modification by plastic deformation using the methods of equal-channel multiangular pressing, hydrostatic extrusion and drawing on their properties is determined. The extreme nature of the dependence of physical and mechanical properties of Cu-Fe, Cu-Cu and Cu-NbTi composite from fiber diameter and the critical size of fibers, at which the maximum level of properties takes place, is revealed. It's found out that fiber composites have high temporal stability of the strength (Cu-Fe, Cu-Cu, Cu-NbTi), magnetic (Cu-Fe) and resistance (Cu-Fe) properties. Field of application: physics of a solid state, the physics of durability and plasticity
