Essay

Object of research: the process of improving the competitiveness of regions of Ukraine. Objective: To develop theoretical principles and practical recommendations from study of organizational and economic foundations of competitiveness of regions of Ukraine. Methods: economic-statistical, economic and mathematical, strategic analysis, logic synthesis, synthesis, analysis and comparison. Results: The first differentiated competitiveness of the region by the views of investment, trade and social isolation facilities by regional competition, which include investment funds, goods (products and services) and population, hence formed the organizational and economic bases enhance the competitiveness of the region; improved: the method of construction of the matrix potential clustering of the region, the mechanism of the implementation of preferential modes of economic activity; methodological approaches to assess the competitiveness of the region; further development: a conceptual model of the competitiveness of the region, the essence competitiveness; approach to assessing commercial competitiveness; model regulation competitiveness of regions of Ukraine; approach to strategy formation increase competitiveness. Introduction: Lutsk National Technical University in carrying out research topics "Mechanisms Competitiveness of Regions of Ukraine" and "Mechanisms to promote socio-economic development of the region", Lutsk National Technical University is teaching "Area of productive forces and regional economy", "Department for Regional Development ", The Head Department of Economics of the Volyn Regional State Administration.
