Essay

The physico-mechanical properties of the composites depend on presence of the nanosize carbon in them. In metal composites it increases their tensile strength. This is due the increase of dislocation density and blocking of dislocation mobility. In polymer composites carbon influences on the conductivity, polymer matrice crystallinity and physico-mechanical characteristics. There is the effect of thermally exfoliated graphite dispergation on physico-mechanical characteristics and resistivity percolation threshold value.
