Koval O. Theoretical and applied problems of increasing the competitiveness of regional forest indusrtial complex

Object of research: the process of improving the competitiveness of the regional forestry industry, the purpose of the study: development of theoretical foundations and guidelines for improving the competitiveness of the regional timber complexes, and ensure their sustainability in the long term; methods: dialectical, graphic, historical and method of formalization; system approach, comparative and graphical analysis, grouping, regulatory, economic and mathematical modeling, the method of principal components, theoretical and practical developments: improved definition content "competitiveness" that characterizes the stability of the region and allows methodically correctly determine factors of and criteria for evaluating its actual and potential competitive advantages, methodical approaches to the creation of the domestic timber large vertically integrated companies to determine their strengths and weaknesses; built trohklasternu formation and functioning of effective regional forestry industry; methodological approaches and practical recommendations for geographically specific timber forming industry clusters in regions of Ukraine; feasibility of using territorial and sectoral clustering to sustainable economic development, the classification of types of clusters with the release of their general and specific characteristics that will optimize the composition and structure of the generated clusters, improve mechanisms for implementing forestry policy areas; discovered patterns and regional financial and economic characteristics of modern regional forestry industry based on comparative assessment of its competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets in terms of commodity and geographical segment, the concept of innovation development of the forestry industry in the region, based on an integrated system-target approach, organizational and economic coping mechanisms to implement sustainable innovative development of forestry sector in the region, the degree of implementation, "Cherkaske forestry" Regional Forestry and Hunting of the State Agency of forest resources of Ukraine, CSTU, PE Romanchenko AD, the scope of use: formulate strategies and programs for socio-economic development of the regions of Ukraine.
