Research object: forming of architecture of the regional innovative system. Research purpose: generalization of theoretical positions and development of methodical recommendations on forming of modern architecture of the regional innovative system for the decision of practical tasks of innovative development of region. Research methods: dialectical, system approach, economic and statistical analysis. Theoretical and practical results consist in deepening, subsequent development and improvement of scientific and theoretical positions at the ground of suggestions on forming of modern architecture of the regional innovative system for the decision of practical tasks of innovative development of region. The practical value of the executed research consists in development of scientific and theoretical and methodical positions and recommendations, suitable for the practical use. Recommendations are utilized: By main administration of economy of Lugansk regional state administration; By the management of economy of Lugansk city advice; By the Lugansk regional commercial and industrial chamber; Alchevsk by city advice of the Lugansk area; in the educational process of the Donbassky state technical university of Department of education and science, young people and sport of Ukraine. Scientific novelty: the receptions of comparative analysis of dynamics of the innovative systems of regions of Ukraine and determination of estimation of level of development of the regional innovative system are improved. The territorial going is grounded near forming of modern architecture of the regional innovative system, which takes into account the specific features of region, his strong and weak sides, orienteer of innovative development. The mechanism of management the regional innovative system is certain. Understanding of essence of the regional innovative system got further development and its modern architecture is grounded through determination of organizational bases and characteristic signs. Terms and features of development of the regional innovative system are exposed.
