Salashenko T. Forming of Energy Efficiency Strategy in Industry of the Region

The object of research is the process of forming of energy efficiency strategy in industry of the region. The purpose of research is development of theoretical and methodical positions and practical recommendations on forming of energy efficiency strategy in industry of the region. Methods of research are logical analysis; analysis and synthesis; target programming; taxonomic analysis; cluster analysis; regression analysis; system-dynamic modeling; production function building with constant elasticity. Definition of "energy efficiency" concept which implies the properties of the ecological, social and economic system to extract maximum useful (and / or minimum positive) result from the fuel and energy resources use in limitations terms; methodical approach to assessment of the energy efficiency in the regional aspect which envisages the formation of three-level structure for calculation of integral index of economic, social and ecological components are got further development. Тheoretical approach to formation of a energy efficiency strategy in industry of the region which takes into account the peculiarities of making strategic decisions on the basis of the energy efficiency indicators values; methodological information support of decision-making on the choice of priority activities energy efficiency improvement in the industry of the region which based on the weight indicators, investment attractiveness and energy intensity of production; methodical approach to the development of scenarios for energy efficiency which provides for the formation of strategic map with a causal link between the key indicators energy efficiency on the basis of the systemic and dynamic modeling are improved. Research results are used in the Main Department of Economics of Kharkiv Regional State Administration (certificate № 69/1 from 03.04.2012), "PROMTEHENERGO" (certificate № 22/04-1 from 20.04.2012) and in the educational process of the Kharkov National University of Economics (certificate № 12/85-07-31 from 04.04.2012).
