Mazur G. Methodological-practical foundation of the sustainable spatial development of the macro-systems

This dissertation substantiates the theoretical-methodological foundations for the formation and development of the macro-level regional structures, explains the essence of the notions: "macro-system", "interregional space", "interregional development", "sustainable spatial development of macro-systems". The work determines preconditions and factors, patterns and principles of the functioning of the sustainable spatial development of macro-regions, elaborates methodological approaches toward the assessment of the effectiveness of the stable macro-process and functioning of the macro-systems. Also, substantiated has been the organizational-economic mechanism of the macro-system development on the basis of expanding the essence and ways of the investment-innovative and foreign-economic activities along with ensuring ecological safety of the production activities, and developed has been the strategy for the sustainable spatial development of macro-systems with formulation of perspective parametrical characteristics and the mechanism of its realization.
