Malinovska T. Organization and activity of colonial elective administrations in the Russian Empire (1762-1804)

The object of research is the colonizational policy of the Russian Empire in the second half of XVIII - early XIX century. The aim is to determine the characteristics of the organization and activities of electoral governments in the settlements established since the early 1760s. up to 1804 on the basis of manifestos in 1762 and 1763 about the conditions of the emigration of foreigners to the Russian Empire. Methods: structural, functional, historical-and-genetical, historical-and-typological, comparatively historical, problem-and-chronological methods and the method of periodization. Scientific innovation and results of the research: the comprehensive study of specific structures and functions of electoral governments in the colonies of foreigners in the territory of the Russian Empire in 1762-1804 years was performed in Ukrainian historiography for the first time. Field of use: scientific researches and teaching.
