Essay

The thesis deals with the study of the development of Ukrainian-Lithuanian relations in the years 1991–2011. Based on archival sources and professional literature analyzed legal basis for relations and system of forming bilateral relations between the main state institutions: the heads of governments and parliaments. The cooperation in the sphere of cultural, scientific and educational exchanges is analyzed, the issues of diaspora as an important factor of cooperation are highlighted.
