Essay

Object: The National Policy J. Pilsudski and the Polish government in the context of socio-political processes in the Ukrainian and Polish territories in the late XIX - first third of the XX century. Objective: to study the formation and implementation of the principles of state policy on the national question in general and Ukrainian in particular, which formed and exercised J. Pilsudski, including in respect of the Ukrainian population of Eastern Galicia during World War II, during the formation of an independent Polish state and in the interwar period. Methods: general scientific, problem-chronological and comparative-historical. Results: the classification of sources is carried out, a significant part of the archival documents, previously unknown or little-known historical science is introduced into scholarly circulation, characterized by the ratio of J. Pilsudski to the Ukrainian question in various stages of his political and public activities. Application: for further theoretical, comparative, industry and applied research on the role and place of the individual in history, and directly in the history of J. Pilsudski in Poland, Ukraine, Western Europe and Eastern Galicia, developing of teaching materials for courses in world history and contemporary Ukraine's history, theory and history of the state and law of foreign countries.
