Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the study of process of 1-octene's epoxidation by tert-butyl hydroperoxide in the presence of molybdenum boride. It is exposed, that at the beginning of reaction under act of reactionary environment there is activating of MoB surface, which submits to the laws of topokinetics and is described by equation Abrahami-Yerofeev. Influencing of composition of reactionary environment on the process of activating and on the speed of expenditure of tert-butyl hydroperoxide is set. The ways of expenditure of tert-butyl hydroperoxide are definite in the presence of the activated and unactivated forms of catalyst. It is shown, that with participation of the unactivated form of catalyst epoxide does not appear. The optimum conditions of synthesis of 1,2-epoxyoctane are definite in the presence of MoB. The kinetic parameters of reaction and value of topochemical constants are calculated.
