Essay

The thesis is devoted to maintaining populations of native fish species Dnieper-Bug estuary system. The deformation of populations' structure of valuable fish species due to changes in environmental conditions caused negative processes in the flood waters of the Dnieper-Bug estuary system reached critical parameters. Thus the Lower Dnieper and Dnieper-Bug estuary system can not be considered as industrial fishing ponds with valuable native species. Through experimental studies found significant productive potential of phytoplankton, zooplankton and benthos. A predictive model of ichthyofauna in conditions of over-regulation of the Dnieper was developed. Dynamics of spawning population of valuable native fish species was investigated. For environmentally safety and existence of natural fish reproduction, using of prohibitive measures for fish catch in spawning period and the introduction of planktofag fish species for artificial reproduction of their populations will allow forming of breeding and commercial flocks of valuable fish spеcies.
