Kochetkova N. Development of scientific and methodical approaches to intra-region social economic differentiation

The approach to assessing the level of intra-regional social economic differentiation is devised in the thesis, which involves the definition of index of internal and external competitiveness of the economy and the quality of life in the region that presumes to reveal the inequalities of the development of the territories of the region, the reason of staining the social economic contradictions and the potential for overcoming the social economic differentiation. In the thesis the essence of concepts "differentiation", "asymmetry", "polarization", "disproportion", "divergence", "uneven", has been amplified, the system for monitoring of intra-regional social economic differentiation has been improved. The approach to systematize the factors which determine the social economic differentiation of the region which allows considering the sphere, character and consequences of their influence on the transformation of regional public system has been worked out. The new approach to the assessment of trends in the social economic development of the region has been propounded, taking into account the components of social and economic differentiation that allowed to develop organizational and economic studies of the nature of intra-regional social economic differentiation as a basis for overcoming disparities in social, economic and environmental development.
