Essay

The thesis is devoted to improving the accuracy of measuring channels with eddy current sensors and to development the computerized system measuring the thickness of steel sheet constructions based on these channels. We obtained analytical expressions for the approximate estimation of parameters of series and parallel electric models research object (RO). The analysis of error of known frequency channel (LFC). Methods of reducing the errors were developed. Proposed and implemented experimentally studied two-frequency eddy current thickness gauge (TECT) in which for reducing the influence of gap introduced auxiliary frequency channel (HFC). Analysed reducing errors caused by the influence of changes in the gap in the range of 0 to 6 mm. Error analysis of the mutual influence of channels TECT of the computerized system was done. Was implemented a combined (parametric-transformer) ECS. Mathematically simulated error of approximation and linearization characteristics of TECT. By the total cumulative error of computerized system measuring the thickness of steel structures is analysed, we show that it does not exceed 5%. A hardware-software digital processing output sygnal of TECT, including means of linearization characteristics of TECT, the accumulation of data and their further processing using off-line were developed.
