Essay

The thesis is devoted to solving the actual problem of increasing the work efficiency of hydraulic leveling device (HLD) plain thrust bearings (PTB) . The theoretical dependence of the amplitude of oscillation oil-film thickness of pillows on the amplitude of the face beating of the crest was obtained, characterizing the efficiency of the HLD. It is theoretically proved and experimentally confirmed that the multilayer bellows HLD have no less than two-fold margin of safety in operating conditions, ensure the protection of the oil film from the vibrational destruction. Further development of methodology of calculation and HLD design with multilayer bellows PTB was gained.
