In dissertation, devoted to toxicological-hygienic estimation of consequences of technogenic ecocatastrophe, caused by phosphorus is set that contamination of atmospheric air took place with the exceeding of one time maximal acceptable concentrations in 2-23 times from the laboratory data and in 2-316 times from the calculation data. It was founded no additional toxic elements, which could be present as the complement of commodity phosphorus, during the tests of environment from the scene of accident. It is set that the followings signs prevailed in the clinic of defeat: irritation of eyes and respiratory tracts, general intoxication and elevated temperature, increased activity of transaminases in blood on 4-6 day as compared to the first day of contact. The conducted analysis of medical statistical data in the Lviv area allowed to establish the absence of reliable increase of morbidity of persons that live in the districts which were influenced by phosphoric failure as compared to other districts of the Lviv region. It was offered the complex of preventive measures, directed on warning of origin of failures with yellow phosphorus burning, diminishing of possible area of contamination, prevention of origin of defeats of population and rescuers, modern going diagnostics and medicare measures in acute inhalation poisoning by the phosphorus burning products.
