Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the general laws of phase and structure and relationship structure-properties of eutectic alloys of Ti-Si-Sn, Ti-Si-Ga, Ti-Si-Zr, Ti-Si-B. Found that alpha-titanium stabilizers (Al, Ga), and B, increase the Young's modulus (160 GPa) and hardness (5.6 GPa) of eutectic alloys of Ti-Si-X by increasing the interatomic interaction in solid solution hardening and the formation of high-modulus phase. Neutral to stabilize titanium elements (Zr, Sn) at certain concentrations a positive effect on low-temperature ductility of eutectic alloys of Ti-Si-X as a result of the modification of cast structure.
