Research object: investment processes are in the economy of industrial city. Research purpose: ground of measures on the increase of investment activity in the economy of industrial city on the basis of theoretical generalization, empiric verification and scientifically methodical providing of positions about reproduction processes, that will provide his social and economic development. Research methods: logical structural ground; structural, economic and statistical, economic and mathematical analysis of the systems; graphic description. Theoretical results consists in deepening, subsequent development and improvement of scientific and theoretical positions about the increase of investment activity in the economy of industrial city, providing his social and economic development. The practical value of the executed research consists in development of scientific and practical and methodical positions and recommendations, suitable for the practical use. The got results are inculcated in practice: By main administration of regional development, bringing in of investments and external economic relations of Donetsk regional state administration; By main economic administration of Donetsk city advice; By the management of economy Makeevka of city advice of the Donetsk area; By public budgetary institution the "Donetsk regional center on investments and development" of the State agency on investments and management the national projects of Ukraine; utillized in the educational process of the Donbaska national academy of building and architecture of Department of education and science, young people and sport of Ukraine. Scientific novelty: the system of monitoring of investment activity is developed in the economy of industrial city on the basis of the use of integral index. Going is improved near providing of activation of investment processes. The estimation of the state of economy of city is executed on the basis of indexes of the use of resources on the levels of hierarchy. Reproduction processes are appraised and the level of investment activity is certain in the economy of city. Determination of investment activity is generalized and understanding of estimation of investment activity is specified in the economy of industrial city. Priorities of increase of investment activity and diversification of economy of city are certain on the basis of the planned documents of his development. The methods of increase of investment activity are classified in the economy of industrial city on economic, organizational and administrative signs. The sphere of the use is activity of organs of executive power and plenipotentiary by them subjects; organs of local self-government; scientific establishments on the type of the advanced study; higher educational establishments.
