Essay

The working stability parameters in terms of intensive coal outworking are substantiated for an extraction zone influence. The considerable volume of statistical data is processed concerning influence of geological and geotechnical parameters on a fundamental and cyclic rock fall in conditions of highly loaded longwall. The laws of stress state change in rock mass are determined, and the failure zones around intersected openings are defined with usage of developed failure criterion taking into consideration the rates of mining. The function connecting the period of a roof fall and rate of longwall advance is obtained. The activities providing the stability of workings in terms of coal seam h8 mining are proposed. The realization of means directed to increasing the stability of development workings provides the economic benefit of 26100 hrivnas per 1000 meters of working.
