Heletiy Y. Structural Transformation of Industry of Carpathian Region

Object of research: transformation processes in the industrial structure in the Carpathian region. Objective: developing the theoretical and methodological foundations of structural transformations in the industry of the region and practical recommendations on formation of structural regional industrial policy based on innovation and austerity of resources. Methods: visual, spatial, economic, statistical and sociological analysis, system-structural analysis, monographic, statistical, comparison, mapping, modeling, sociological. Novelty: firstly proved involution of industrial production of goods, reduction of industrial functions of individual settlements is established, improved estimate of the such transformation processes as degeneration and disintegration of industrial units, formed before independence, conceptual approaches to the study of regional industrial policy, the essence of the concept "territorial and sectoral structure of industry region". Scope: in the activities of Project institute "LvivPrombudproekt", Department of Economy of the Lviv City Council, Main Department of Economy of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Ministry of Economy of Ukraine in the development of measures to control territorial and structural processes.
